🏛️ In the city

The Muelle del Tinto, built by the Rio Tinto Company, is Huelva's postcard view, especially at sunset. Add the Columbus Monument at Punta del Sebo, the Reina Victoria district (the English-style workers' quarter), the Cathedral of La Merced and the Plaza de las Monjas. It's a comfortable half-day stroll.

⛵ The Columbus sites

Just minutes away is the birthplace of the discovery of America: the La Rábida Monastery, the Caravels Wharf (replicas of the Niña, Pinta and Santa María), Palos de la Frontera and Moguer, home of Nobel laureate Juan Ramón Jiménez. A must to understand Huelva's history.

🌄 The province that surprises you

If you have more than a day, the province is huge: the Gruta de las Maravillas cave in Aracena, the red landscape and mining train of Riotinto, the Doñana National Park, the white villages of the Sierra with their Jabugo ham, and beaches like Punta Umbría, Mazagón, Matalascañas and Islantilla.

🚖 How to see it without a car

The city is walkable, but for the province the easiest way is an excursion with a local taxi driver: picked up at your hotel, driven to each spot, waited for, and back with no driving, no parking and someone who knows the area. With Taxi Huelva 24 Horas · DaniVIP we tailor the route to you, with a fixed price and a high-end vehicle.
